Centre for Applied NonViolent Action and Strategies - or CANVAS represents an International network of trainers and consultants, established in 2003.

CANVAS trainers and consultants support nonviolent democratic movements through transfer of knowledge on strategies and tactics of nonviolent struggle. CANVAS Supporting Active Network in four countries advocates and promotes battles for democracy worldwide.

Who we are
CANVAS trainers and consultants are world-wide recognized experts from Serbia, Georgia, Ukraine and South Africa, with experience in battling for democracy in their own countries, and involved in knowledge transferring to 24 different groups in the world.
What we do
We at Canvas deliver a refined knowledge on non-violent strategies and tactics, based on standardized and tested training programme, and the Leadership consultation program, in order to provide an overcome of the political conflicts.
CANVAS founders and members are presenting or teaching on prominent educational institutions around the globe, like Faculty of Political Science (Belgrade, Serbia) Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Boston, MA); Colorado Colege (Colorado Springs, CO); Stanford University (San Francisco CA); and many others.
What we never do
CANVAS does not accept any governmental funding.
Our agenda is educational, not political.
